2. Bali Tourist Levy
Early in 2024, Bali introduced a mandatory tourist levy of 150,000 IDR (approx. AUD 15) for foreign visitors. The funds collected support environmental conservation and cultural preservation initiatives on the island.
You can pay the levy online before your trip or upon arrival. If paying on arrival look for the desk on your way out of Ngurah Rai Airport, before you reach the driver waiting area.
You will receive a QR code which you need to keep with you throughout your trip, you can screenshot the code if applying online.

4. Health Screening Requirements
The World Health Organisation recently advised that Monkey Pox, or MPox, had been detected in areas where the virus is not considered endemic. To ensure the health and safety of all visitors, a health screening is now mandatory for entry into Bali. You can complete the health screening form online or via the Satusehat app, which is available on the App Store or Google Play.

5. Passport Validity
Ensure your passport has at least 6 months of validity from your date of arrival in Bali. This is a strict requirement, and travelers with less than 6 months remaining on their passports will be denied entry.
